Free Agent Acquisitions
On Oct. 10, 2002 the Rockets agreed to terms with Yao Ming (C), the Rockets first round pick of the 2002 draft.
On Sept 13, 2002 the Rockets signed Tito Maddox (F), their second round pick.
On July 12, 2002 the Rockets signed Bostjan Nachbar (F), the second of their two first round picks, to a multi-year contract.
