Free Agent Acquisitions
On Oct. 29, 2002 the Clippers signed free agent Wang Zhizhi (C), who previously played with the Dallas Mavericks.
On Sept. 28, 2002 the Clippers signed free agents Cherokee Parks (F) and Tremaine Fowlkes (F).
On Sept. 5, 2002 the Clippers signed Melvin Ely (F/C), their first-round pick, to a three-year contract with a club option.
On August 2, 2002 the Clippers signed Chris Wilcox (F), the first of their two first-round picks in the 2002 draft, to a multi-year contract.
On July 19, 2002 the Clippers signed Marko Jaric (G) to a multi-year contract.
Trades
The Clippers acquired Andre Miller (G) and Bryant Stith (G) from the Cleveland Cavaliers for Darius Miles (F) and Harold Jamison (F) on July 31, 2002.
The Clippers traded the draft rights to Mario Kasun (C) to the Orlando Magic for future considerations on June 28, 2002.
